ASHTON NAYLOR
Welcome to Naylor Forge. My name is Ashton Naylor and I am the owner and operator of Naylor Forge where you can find products from the stone age to the cutting edge! My passion is for all things Forged, especially edged weapons and New Technology Integration into our daily activities to improve performance and quality of life. Naylor Forge is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Artist Blacksmith Shop that specializes in traditionally made and styled cutting tools from high carbon steels and pattern welded Damascus made in our shop.We currently make Knives, Tomahawks, & Axes in the following categories: Bowie Knives, Hunting & Fishing Knives, Tactical Knives, Scottish Sgian-dubh, Daggers, and Kitchen Cutlery. All Forging, Damascus, Grinding, Heat Treating, Fit, Finish, & Sheath Making are done in house at Naylor Forge. The Naylor Forge team is the Sole Author of work made at the shop. Any imperfections in our work are ours alone; this is what makes each product unique. No two Items are exactly the same as they are all hand made. My role at Naylor Forge is new product development and quality control.
I am a proud Veteran of 32 years of service to our country. I spent 25 of 32 years in the Special Forces Regiment serving on five different continents: Central America, South America, Horn of Africa, Afghanistan and Iraq. I would do it all again if I could as I got to serve with the greatest this country has to offer…American volunteers!
WES NAYLOR
My son, Wes Naylor, is an Appalachian State University graduate and in charge of production at Naylor Forge. He is also a master pattern maker and seamstress. He can forge, grind, fit, and finish everything in our inventory. He is also our resident expert in rock climbing, kayaking, and snow skiing.
ROBERT MOORE
Robert Moore is a Veteran of 27 years with the Marine Corps and North Carolina National Guard, and served multiple tours in Irag. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University in graphic design. All graphics for our leather sheath a designed and burned by Robert with his laser engraver, with all his original artwork. Robert collaborates on everything we do including military art work on products like cutting boards and leather coasters just to name a few. All the artwork produced at Naylor Forge is an original design by Robert. He has done several commissioned illustrations and design projects and currently works with the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
